My wife and I have been patients at Leslie Medical Center regularly since 1996. We had read about chelation in health newsletters for several years and were happy to find Dr. Melissa Taliaferro listed as one of the top alternative medical doctors, not only in the United States but also in the world.
When we saw that she is located in Arkansas, we immediately made an appointment. I have since had over 200 IV chelation treatments. My current “live” heart scans show me to be in above average health.
Dr. Melissa, as we all call her, begins with complete “workup” testing to give a very detailed analysis of a complete health status. We have consequently done several protocols besides chelation. We have met people there from all over the United States as a far away as England who have found her and depend on her expertise for their various health situations.
I am now 76 and my wife Sheila is 77, and we credit Dr. Melissa with keeping us above-average health for our ages. She keeps up with the fast progressing medical procedures and recommends those that fit our individual health situations.
Chelation therapy is far from the only therapy Dr. Melissa performs and is not the only one recommended for us. She is in essence our “concierge” care doctor and handles almost everything we need. We strongly recommend her and her clinic to help keep one in good health.-G.G., Harvey, AR
Approximately 12 years ago, I was diagnosed with scleroderma at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a chronic connective tissue disease generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases. The doctor there gave me very little hope. I was told that there was no cure or treatment for my condition. I was given 3-5 years to live. I returned home to Arkansas to prepare to die.
Shortly after returning home I accidently and by the grace of God, met a lady who gave me a card with Dr. Melissa Taliaferro's clinic information. I called immediatley and made an appointment as soon as I could.
I was told by Dr. Taliaferro that my condition didn't develop overnight, so it would take a while to get control of it. She told me to be patient and allow the therapy to do its job. Now, after 12 years I am still alive. Between God, Dr. Melissa and my wife, I owe my life to them. I am so grateful.
I would recommend Dr. Taliaferro to anyone, 100%. I would be happy to speak to you about my experience at Leslie Medical Center. If you are interested, please call or email the clinic for my contact information.-W.A.,AR
I spent 10 years in the medical field. I hold a BS in Health Education (1978). I am now a Crohn's Patient. I became symptomatic in May 2000, still not diagnosed until 2006. I was bedridden from June 2000 until July 2002.
When I went to Dr. Melissa Taliaferro, MD for work up, then detoxed my GI tract & my entire system. THREE WEEKS AFTER Dr. Melissa's work-up, detox, & treatment, I WAS MOWING MY YARD WITH A PUSH MOWER, approximately 1/2 acre. In addition, I could also mow the rest of the 1 acre with a riding mower.
Dr. Melissa keeps me on maintenance care & I don't have NEAR the problems I did for 2 years plus. She literally saved my life. 13 years ago. I turned 60 on 8-25-2015 & can do more than most 60 year olds.
I still do my electric, plumbing, pipefitting business (one man shop) & work pipefitting through my UA Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 155, Little Rock, AR. U of Ark. for Medical Sciences---Little Rock, AR; 4301 West Markham is VERY FOOLISH for not having Dr. Melissa as at least an Adjunct Clinical Professor if not a regular guest lecturer in so-called "ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE"!! It is solely, another area of specialized medicine. No more no less; but, "traditional medicine" will not acknowledge this specialized area & this true practitioner of the Hippocratic Oath.-R.B., Little Rock, AR. 3rd non-doctoral level scientist elected to the Arkansas Thoracic Society.
